How much would you guys charge to chop an old fart can off, and weld on a new one?? thats my question?? let me know aight? thanks guys

Exhaust shop... like 30-60 bucks depending. Depends on how much works involved and if you have the new muffler & hangers or not. Call some local places and get an estimate.
I called around a few places and none of the exhaust shops would do the work because I didn't buy the muffler from them. So instead I paid the guy that owns the little car dealership near my house $20 to let me use his shop and his welder to do it myself.
Ehh, I get shops here to install things I buy with the understanding that I don't hold them responsible for any problems with the product.
