couple questions
Monday, April 10, 2006 6:09 AM
ive been doing some research over the past few weeks and have decided that on my next oil change im going to full synthetic. i was thinking about running a can of seafoam through the gas and the crankcase, about 100 miles or so before i do the oil change. during my research i have found that when i change the oil after the seafoam that there will be chunky stuff that comes out with it. my question is would it be wise to drop the oil pan to get all the chunky stuff out, or will just draining it do the trick? if i were to drop the pan, should i replace the gasket?

Ill make a sig someday

Your not going to get any "chuncks" of carbon fall out in some big glob. You will be lucky if that stuff does anything but waste your money. Remember who is telling you the stuff will make your run better and clean off carbon depiosts and all, the same people trying to sell it to you.
I bet you you didnt know having some crabon depoists are actually a good thing, did ya?

I have never used any of that @!#$, or any crap in my gas tank and all my cars have ran just fine.
