the high beam works but low beam don't.... and the service light is on... what could be the problem??
might be the headlight switch, i had the one on my sunfire go a few times and that would happen, high beams but no lows
The term 'stock' is COMPLETELY relative...
What year is your car and how many miles does it have?
its a 2002 4 door 2.2 and it has i think 42 kms on it
Question before jumping to conclusions, Does your headlights blink really quickly for a few seconds when your drl's should turn on when you drive?
If it does, replace your headlight bulbs. That will fix it. Your DRLs or run on your passanger side.
yup they blink really fast then they cut off.... so if he canges the blubs he should be good?? or should he disable his drl??
Replace the bulbs would be easier. Im not sure if you disable the DRl's would fix it. When ever a light like that flickers on and off really fast, that usually means a light is burnt out. Just an FYI.
dan
but it happens every time he turns his car on, and also his high beams work...
could still mean his Low Beams are out, remember they are dual filament bulbs, to one filament is burned out and the other isn't. Obvisouly you use Low Beams more than High Beams
Go Premium, it builds character!
could also have a corroded splice behind the washer jug.....seen that more than a few times....but replace the bulbs first befor digging around in the harness
