You have a CEL for an O2 sensor code, just wondering?
Normaly people do and they go buy a new sensor right away, with that not being the problem.
- 2004 Cavalier - 124k, owned since new
Why does everyone call it a CEL??? Its actually called a MIL (malfunction indicator lamp)... sorry... why exactly do you want to replace your O2 sensor? Have you tested them? Typically you get an O2 code because of an emissions problem... not because the O2 sensor is bad. You should scope your O2's before replacing them and make sure they are within spec (.1-.9VDC)

We call it a CEL, because its literally means Check engine light according to GM.
because that little light on my dash says "Check Engine"

I've got some black electrical tape that will fix that!
Yeah but besides the light in the dash, its always called a
MIL, any shop manual and most techs will always say MIL. Not saying you guys are wrong or anything, its just not an acronym that i have ever seen used outside of this forum....
