so today i decided to install my 6" speakers in the doors of my 05 cav. everything went fine and i put the car back toghter after i tested the windows and made sure they didn't hit the speakers.
but i didn't test the power locks (they where unplugged) the passenger side one works fine.
but............................
when i push the lock button on the drivers side the door will lock, but as soon as i take my finger off the button it clicks and unlocks again. yet the lock button on my key-less entry will lock the door no problem.
im lost here im guessing its a pinched wire i haven't taken the door panel off to have a look at it yet. any in put would be great.

oh yea will the lock button out of a 99 cav work in my 05? my screw driver seems do have met the button a bunch of times.

Is your key in the ignition? If so it won't let you lock the doors while your key is in the ignition. Its a feature that is meant to prevent locking yourself out of your car.
