hey guys,
i jus recently change my waterpump like2 months ago. A day before new years eve i bought a new pump took it to a shop charged me lke 500 beans...everythang okay . nothin seems to be wrong. Now i noticed to day that i'm leakin coolant coulde it be tha pump or a pipe/hose perhaps.i'm not losing alot of coolante when i leave my car parked and come back lkie 3 hrs later its like the size of a med pizza, but dry not a puddle. is the gasket wearing out quickly or am i pushin my car tooo hard that it split open??? or a hose!?!?! i checked but i want it to get it on ramps!!!early morning its toooo dark its 12:30am in va....thnx guys....appreciate it!!

I would let youre car idle for a bit, Then see where the coolant is leaking from. Could be an wornout heater or rad hose. Even the thermostat gasket could be not seated properly either, Or youre thermostat could be not working properly.

what side of the car is it on? left right near front or back of engine.. Try to trace it the best you can.

yea find out where its coming from first. it could just be a bad hose or something

I could be really helpful if you had told us which of your two engines/cars the problem is with... Had an issue with my 2200 this summer.

OooOh oops yea....sorry i have a 98 z24 i dunno much bout the engine i'm still learing bout it!!!......i still haven't had time to ..find out where its at!!!. so it can't be tha pump right or !?!?!?....thnx..

i seems like its coming from the....coolant resevoir. then leaks to the front but still trying to find out!!! either hose or the plastic resevoir..
