whats about the cost to have an 04 Cavalier fully repainted. I'm not talking about changing colors, just the car needs a new repaint.

I don't know much about body shop pricing., but I would imagine it's not my any means cheap. I once thought of repainting a car just to get some more money for it when i sold it, and it was going to be a lot of money, even if i did all the prep work myself.
Just wondering, ur car is an 04, why does it need a repaint already?

Well I wouldnt be doing any of the prep work, since I only fix cars not paint tem.
secondly the thing was keyed on the one side, the thing has two 8 inches scrathes on the left side dont know what from. The ding guards are pretty banged up. The front bumper has a 1inch scratch on it.
