not sure where to put this

well i have a 99 z24 for some reason the guy that had it had the fog lights hooked up to a switch to turn them on. i am guessing they didn't come on it for some reason but inside theres a button for the fogs but it dosen't work and theres the switch he used to turn them on. if i would buy the headlight harness and the part for the interior how would i go to hook it up?

i believe theres a splice in there somewhere then grounds out underneath the battery u'd need a wiring diagram for it to know for sure.

why would u get the whole harness?.. maybe the switch just went bad and he was too much of a moron to replace it. i would re trace the existing wires before throwing a new harness in

Your local library usually has Haynes/Chiltons manuals you can take a photo copy or take the book. This leads to a possibility. If there is someone who has the factory service manuals for the J bodies, maybe they can scan the wiring diagrams and put them up as a sticky. I have a Haynes manual, but it doesn't cover everything.
