well it has been raining here alot i hit some bigg puddles tonight and all of a sudden at the end of the nite my ets light comes on and it shifts like hell i searched i found it could be a vacuum line and anothr guy said TPS?.. anyway it goes OFF when i put it on 3.. P but the ETS LIGHT IS ON when i put it in D, P or 1,2 .. also when its in DRIVE the light on the dash goes OFF when ets comes on sometimes i notice it goes on and off.. or i hit the gas hard and made it shift hard and the l;ight went off and
D light came back on

do you guys know where to check it seems maybe its a lose connection that knocked lose with the water or something maybe it'll dry out n work tomorrow but its pissing me off tonight anything to check for?

mine did that too...mine was a vacume line came off the TB while cleaning it

i looked all over engine all vaccum lines are in iat sensor is good imma just lt it sit and maybe it will dry off hopefully something just got wet

My first guess would've bee the IAT sensor, my car shifted hard when one of the IAT sensor wires broke. Trace both of those wires as far back as you can. Good luck though cause that always blows when you cant figure out what's wrong.
