Hello everyone:
Currently, I have a lot of play movement in my shifter, and was told to replace the B+M shifter bushins with larger ones. Is this true? And if so, where can i buy some bigger replacement bushins? Also, theres a bolt on my A/C compressor thats seems to be stripped, and i noticed the washer that helps keep the bolt tight is loose. I would like to know if there's a silicone or something, i can get to keep the washer from rattleing?
Thanks
Well for the bushings I'd say contact B&M. As for your bolt issue I think i already answered it in your other post. Pull the bolt and inspect things and let me know what you find and I'll try to help you from there.

The bolt is too long for the whole. It doesn't want to come out at all. I belive its stripped.
Ok try this then. Does it come out far enough to slip a wrench between its head and the part ? If so just use a wrench that fits the bolts shaft area but wont go over the head. Use the open end of the wrench and put it between the bolts head and the part. Now just put a socket and rachet on the bolts head and start to turn it to remove it at the same time pull away from the part with the wrench and the bolt will walk right out. Once out inspect the bolt if its stripped just replace it. If it the hole thats stripped does the hole open up on its backside ? If so just get a longer bolt run it thru the hole till it comes out the back and put a nut on it.
Let me know if this helps you at all. ( crosses fingers )
Good Luck.
