would this cause my computer to adv. the timing.

Every time i use it it feels like my car has more getupandgo.

I drive normally and do everything the same as always but i sometimes peal out when accelerating, even though i am not hitting the accelerator any harder than I usually do when i drive.

It could be the placebo effect I know...so thats why I am asking.
I use it regularly.

That is what it is supposted to do! It cleans up the cylinder head(s). That's why you feel the difference.

Ban low-performance cars, not high-performance ones.

I do not think in any way using lucas's fuel additive would cause this problem what so ever. The only time the ecm would cause the timing to change is due to other mechanical issues like plugs,o2 sensor or a rich mixture of gas. While the lucas does increase the octane level it really should not cause any issues with the cars running ability or other associated problems if there are any.I would not worry unless the car had a cel or poor running problems etc.I think ur a ok .

He wasn't saying it was a problem.
He asked if the compu was advancing timing creating more horsepower.

And the pcm has an infinite control over ignition timing. Depending on load.

oh I use it all the time too...like at least every 3 tanks....but I heard that if you use premium that your pcm can advance timing ...I was just wondering if this too is the case with the UCL.
