Complete VIN decoder...
We found this out a while ago, on freelancers post for vin decoding..
Well, it is nice to have a dedicated post now.
I wish it would explain in more detail what the options actually ARE. I've noticed some vehicles ive run on their come up with some crazy options that only go to 10-20 cars. I want to know what they mean, and are so i can look them up and see what they look like. Anyone know a site that describes the option, not just breaks down the code?
Says i have the only 05 with my exact options and there are 12 others with at least as many options.
I'm also curious as to how many production weeks there were in 05. Mine was made in week 28. Would be really cool to know mine was one of the very last built

What's the last 6 digits of your VIN?
I think i read that wrong. I understand it better now lol. but they are 177577
There were about 50,000 sunfires made in 2003. The #) is how many were equipped. For example:
2)2003 Sunfires got 52C TRIM COMBINATION CLOTH, LT NEUTRAL (52C) Not that i'd want light trim, but is it tan? is it white? im assuming This is not the 52E most of the lights got.
orrr 6) got 12C TRIM COMBINATION CLOTH, GRAPHITE (C) (92) CLOTH TRIM(12C) which is a different graphite code than the 12E most of the graphites got.
8) this size tire and if you notice its a bastard of our 2 sizes. QJN TIRE ALL P205/60HR15 BW R/ST TL ALS (90H) TIRE(QJN),
8) IPC TRIM,INTERIOR DESIGN (IPC) I'm assuming thats an Instrument cluster panel? what makes only 8 people have this one?
8)B25 TRIM,LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT(DELUXE) DELUXE LUGG COMPT TR(B25) What makes it deluxe?
5)MCA Unknown
15) A3Y Unknown
32) YT7 Unknown
470) A2E Unknown
3582) UM7 RADIO,AM/FM STEREO,ETR,INCLUDES CLOCK STEREO W/CLK(UM7)
Im assuming this is the normal one. 41438)FX2 AXLE,FRONT,3.91 RATIO 3.91R(FX2)
Then whats this one? 8539)FX1 RATIO TRANSAXLE FINAL DRIVE 3.94 3.94R(FX1)
These ones intrigue me most. Is it a computer difference or a suspension difference?
23) 7MH COMPONENT FRT RH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (7MH) SUSP(7MH)
23) 6MH COMPONENT FRT LH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (6MH) SUSP(6MH)
674) 7MB COMPONENT FRT RH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (7MB) SUSP(7MB)
674) 6MB COMPONENT FRT LH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (6MB) SUSP(6MB)
12979)8DJ COMPONENT RR LH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (8DJ) SUSP(8DJ)
12979)9DJ COMPONENT RR RH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (9DJ) SUSP(9DJ)
A Majority of cars got these which im assuming is the 'normal' parts:
43886)6MA COMPONENT FRT LH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (6MA) SUSP(6MA)
43886)7MA COMPONENT FRT RH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (7MA) SUSP(7MA)
37001)9DH COMPONENT RR RH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (9DH) SUSP(9DH)
37001)8DH COMPONENT RR LH COMPUTER SEL SUSP (8DH) SUSP(8DH)
Yay! Thanks for posting this John! I am definitely going to pass this news along to my fellow Vibe owners on GenVibe!

Sorry man, busy enjoying life.
Unfortunately, I don't know the answers to most of what you want to know.. the difference in the axles is the auto and manual. UM7 is a base radio, no CD player. The last bunch is suspension, but I couldn't tell you the difference. I've seen that a lot in all years, not just 2003.
Just jerkin your chain mang :p thanks for that bit though!
