Well folks, I have 2 major announcements to make.
The first is that as of this Thursday my presence on this, and many other sites, will be greatly reduced. Thursday morning I leave to go to Florida to get my CDL so I can go drive....
That's right...I'm gonna go drive a semi OTR to make some cash to get my butt out of debt and ready for the future. Plus I've had a couple of offers from race teams to work for them but they would prefer I had my CDL and some driving experience so they can pay me one salary to do 2 jobs, basically. LOL.
This means that as of today at 5PM Team Vision Racing is closed for business for at least the next year. My site will be going down within the next couple of days and will be turned into a photo and video blog site so people who are interested can follow me around the country and see just what I'm up to.
The second announcement is.........
That's right...the crazy one is engaged. Never thought the day would come did you guys. LOL. We're both very happy about the decision but we both hate the fact that we've gotta wait a few years until she graduates from college. Oh well, things happen. That's why I've decided to go drive a truck now though. Might as well do something with the next couple of years that will prove helpful in the future.
I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who has helped me over the years, everyone who has made fun of me over the years (for the encouragement to shut you up), and everyone who gave me alcohol at those early JBO meets I was at. LOL. I also wanted to thank everyone for the good memories at those meets, especially the Bash's. I will never forget them, at least not what parts I can remember. LOL.

And coming from a family of long haul truck drivers, make sure you take time to get good solid rest between loads, no black dogging it, and keep some protection in the cab of your truck, a baseball bat will be fine, but a Ruger would be better if you know what I mean.

I have my CDL and used to drive over the road (got a local driving job now). I loved doing it and you probably will too. Being away from home sucks somethimes though. Good luck with everything man, I hope everything works out for ya.
