I want louvers for my cav, its a 2 door.
The only commercially available one is abs. I have access to a cnc bed and can get aluminum sheets in black or any color for that matter. Basically when I get around to doing it I think I could get 3 sets out of 1 sheet. I would proto them in card board for fitment. So would any one be interested? A sheet of aluminum is a lot cheaper if its split three ways. The only thing is that the cut edge will be silver but a paint pen could fix that. You would still probably have to bend the side tabs and pop rivet them together to save on shipping. The side bend lines would be marked. one side of the aluminum is gloss and one side is matte, I don't know which I would do but the sheet could probably be flipped between sets. The thinnest I would feel comfortable making them out of is like 300$ a sheet. I don't think I would be charged cnc labor.
