yes i have it as well. to fix it you can get lucky and the rust hasn't gone all the way through the metal sand down bondo and paint. if it has gone all the way through or close to it you must cut the section out and replace with new metal bondo then paint
So reading is to much work, you feel the need to be spoon fed? Welcome to the .org... you will fit in quite well
Thank You, What kind of car you have ryan?
I like your taste in cars.
I got that rust inside my gas tank area too, i was just waiting for the weather to get a little warmer to fix her up, its just surface rust, so im just going to sand it down, bondo, prime and paint. NOT A BIG DEAL. Im just worried about the bubble that's starting on my drivers side door along the molding.
good luck with your future mods, i just hope you dont sink too much cash into her.
oh I know but when its your ride and you want to make it look nice and pick up the ladies.lol
Where you get bondo? and prime and paint that matchs the color of the car.
Do you wet sand? or what kind of grit sandpaper you use?
lots of bondo. the more the better.
so you you sand it to the metal by the gas tank and then bondo and then prime then paint.
A jiffy lube guy said i should wet sand and put carbana wax on it and then paint now it looks like crap it bubbled.
you do realize the effect wax as right?
