Hey everyone,
I just had a question about taking off the tails to tint them(with nite shade). I heard rumor that' you can't take off the piece that runs across the trunk lid because of clips. True? I don't want to tint with the lights still on the car... if that piece cannot be taken off then i may consider doing a 00-02 trunk swap.
Also for anyone who has tinted their tails, i would really like to see pics!

its held on the same way the rest of your rear lights are.
Yep with those crappy lock nut thingies. BTW: I would suggest replacing all of them.
I took mine off, tinted it, put it back on and didn't replace any of the nuts. Just have to be careful with them.
