i got a few questions about rally stripes. now i found a website that sells em that tells you the length you'd need by car model. it says 170" for a sunfire. it doesn't say anything about sunroofs, spoilers and 2 dr or 4dr.are both models same universal length? i got a 2dr in white with a sunroof and spoiler(2005). it's freezing out here lately so i haven't put on any of my accesories i had ordered previously yet.may wait till spring. if i can find my stepmom's tape measurer i'd measure how much i'd need.i found alot of kits on ebay. i definitely want pinstripes. this same website says what sizes will fit sunfire bodies and 8" by 8" is the biggest.also the special hood ones. i wonder if they pinstripe sizes would even match?not all say the size of pinstripes. so pinstripes? obviously there not having clear inbetween the gap or does it depend on kit? so they are installed separately? well then that'd be a b*tch to do yourself.do places charge $89/hr labor to install? i'd have to call around... what about say the pinstriping kits they sell at say pep boys or advanced auto? is that the same vinyl material? so then would it be possible to get w/o pinstripes and get a bright color like teal or blue(i'm leaning towards teal) and then put black pinstripes with it?

on a separate note i just found sunfire decals in vinyl precut any color. purple would be crazy....

did you have a bit too much coffee? lol, i personally would stay away from the ebay kits, there's only very select items you can buy from ebay that are going to work for you imho. and if u have a white car personally i'd say blacks the only color that the rally stripes would look good in.

do u have ur heart set on pinstripes? seems like they might b a bit much with having dual rally stripes on the car as well. other than that i'll wait and see what jmdecals has to say about the quality of any of these "vinyls" cuz i don't know @!#$ bout them lol.

and yes you'll have to call around to find out how much install would cost if ur not going to do it yourself, but please do not pay someone $89 dollars an hour to intall them. that would make baby jesus cry

I would highly recommend staying away from any racing (rally) stripes, decals, pin stripes, etc.

i guess the fact i've googled it and only seen one sunfire with rally stripes is hinting at something. ????

obviously if i made the $ and wasn't dirty poor i'd paint it something other then white and get "tricked out rims" but rally's are much more inexpensive and can change the look easier and more afforable.

hood=43"
windshield to sunroof=6 1/4
sunroof to back window=15 1/8
r00f total=41 1/2

lol, i gave u decent advice, stay away from ebay vinyl kits. and measure your car if ur unsure of what the length is! aside from that do some @!#$in research then talk @!#$!. jesus, most people were just tryin to help u and u come back talkin big @!#$. call around for install prices, look at ur options for diff options, and we did give responses so don't get all butthurt over what we respond with.

Just trying to save you the money you say you don't have.

Instead of rushing "just to change the look of the car cheaply." Why don't you SAVE AND DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AROUND instead of blowing all your money on stick on crap that will fall off and cause future paint issues?

Also, I don't know about the other guys who posted, but I will be 26 in April thank you very much. Speaking of age, I notice you just turned 28. I seriously thought you would be like 16 or something because I can't really picture a 28 year old woman wanting @!#$ racing stripes! Seriously, my best advice would be get some nice wheels (not some @!#$ 20" chrome ones either, some NICE ones i.e. 5-spoke 17s or 18s) and tires, tint the windows (depending on what your local tint laws are) and lower it (the proper way with struts) and you will be much happier with how it looks and you won't get as many people talking @!#$ to you (obviously you get upset when this happens). Take a chill pill and calm the @!#$ down (and learn how to spell and use punctuation, you are 28 for Christ's sake!).

Hi Im 17 and am thorughly offended by your hatin on us youngins.

Rally stripes look like dick on anything thats not a big body muscle car. Racing stripes dont make your car fast in fact they add drag. Trust me Im a professional.
