i work at a junkyark and have the whole headlight harness from a 05 cav. now i have a 97 i understand the install but do i use my 97 headlights or the 05's? because how else do u get the bulb 9007 to stay in the 9005 housing?

well..........l modify it to fit with a dremel, super easy. just take your time and be care full. alos i think there is a post in the stickys about the bulb/harness swap

i think hees wanting to use the 9007 bulb in the 95-99 headlights. and that is a dumb/ bad idea.

damn wojo is right. i think i was thinking of 00-02. to do that to 95-99 its going to take a lot of modification. and assuming you seal the highbeam bulb hole, you still have to find a way to lock the 9007 in place and make it seal other wise the lights will fog like crazy.
in other words dont try it unless you have a spare set of headlights, and the ability to make clear lenses.

Why are you trying to change to the 9007 bulbs? I don't see the point.
