Front end conversion question.

Alright I read the sticky and the faq, and I see that there are alot of combinations. But I did not see the answer to this question

Can you swap the front end from a 97 sunfire (2door) to an 03+ Cavalier front end. By using hood/fenders/bumpers and brackets?

All 95-05 Jbody front ends are interchangable. Yes.

what about the rear end of my 97, can it be converted to 03+ also? or will i just need to do a 00 cavalier rear conversion?

yup it sure can .. although the 03 trunk lids have holes 7-8 holes i think for the light bar. but no fear just break the little tabs off of the 03 light bar ( i did this to mount the 03 light bar onto my 96 cavies trunk lid)

Wow. That is good to hear. Only people that know what they are looking for will be able to tell my car is not a real 03+ style. But with a 2.2l they will know the second I pop the hood

Okay, i found some pics from searching of someone that did the 03 swap on the front, and it looked good, I was afraid it wouldnt unless it had the 03 cav rear. But now that i actually saw a picture of it, i think it will look good with my stock rear

Yeah the only rear you could change to is 03-05 Sunfire. Cavalier parts don't bolt to the Sunfire coupe rear ends.
