Lambo Door stocks

Quick question. I store my car during the winter so it is garaged for about 8 months of the year. With the MMS lambo doors closed all that time I was wondering if it best to remove the pin and pop the shocks out so they are not compressed for that length of time. Worth doing or doesn't matter?

I'm no expert on this but I would think they should be ok. I don't think I opened my passneger door all winter long (probably even longer) and the shock was fine. I also assuming that based on the fact that gas struts in a suspension are fine on cars that sit all winter. Hope that helps some.

don't think it matters, when you buy the new lift supports they are extended. but on new shocks and struts, they are compressed. they both sit on shelves for periods at a time.

it is probably better to leave them compressed actually.

Less chance of getting contaminates on the strut rod.

It is an MMS kit I bought it off a guy her on the org. This kit is a bolt on. You can pick one up from Joe at Modified Motor Sports for $500. I paid much less...right place at the right time.
