is it at all possible to sand down paint on a carbon fiber hood to get to the carbon fiber on the hood some one said u can use aircraft stripper which i think would ruin it

so you mean someone painted part of, or the whole hood, and you want to sand it back down to show c/f again? yes, you can do that. just sand though, dont use any products because you cant be sure how they are going to react with the resin.

sand sand sand and soon you should see the c/f. once that shows up be careful how much you sand because you can sand down into the c/f material itself and if you "burn through" then youre @!#$.

Yeah I wouldn't use aircraft stripper anywhere near my cf hood lol.
