Anyone got pics? Searched for 30 mins and couldn't find anything. I'm considering it and I'd like an idea of the look. Thanks.
this is an 02' sunfire with an 04' swap. It would look the same even if it was a 99 fire
Does anyone have a pic of a nonkitted one? I can't run a body kit cause of the roads around here. Thanks though.
so that explains the 4x4 sunfire your driving
if you want a stock '03+ front end on a stock sunfire... just look at pics of stock cars.
SAM-R-I - Ya pretty much the roads here suck. I can handle a drop if I watch where I drive but a kit and drop wont happen.
cannon fodder - I want to see how the lines and the panels match up on the car without having to go out and buy the panels and put them on and decide I hate it.
No one? I'm disappointed.
most people dont swap stock parts for stock parts. im not sure what youre looking for with "lining up". the only lines that would even be considered would be on the fenders and the cavs are just curved whereas the fires have an angle. a cav front on a sunfire body will look fine
it will line up just like your stock parts now.
that thing needs to be lowered badly

i agree....and also with Tabs.
Ya i know its in the works. I just don't have the money to drop it at the moment. It'll be done. And thanks for the opinions guys.
Hmmm cant find the edit button but the pic makes it look worse off than it is. I took it in October and now I have my system in and it sits a bit more level. So ya.....
Just had a random thought. Ok so will it matter what front I get? Will I have an issue with the front sitting lower than the rest of the car depending on the lip kit or will it pretty much sit about the same height? I'm not too up on Cavalier trim types.
it'll look silly w/ a LS sport front and the rest w/o lips.
IMO don't bother too much work and $ for something that don't do much of anything unless ur going aftermarket
Ok thanks. I like that. I'm just doing this to have something different. There's about 20 or 30 sunfire around here.
How hard is it to get the inside of the headlights painted? I figured I'd ask even though its probably searchable.

Take them off the car, put them in the oven for 5 minutes to soften up the glue. Pry them apart, paint, put back together sealing it well with silicone, and thats it.
An afternoons worth of work
^^^Hahaha thats funny. Thanks for the pics. I'm rethinking the swap. My friends dad own an auto wrecking yard and he check prices for me and I'm looking at something $850 for the front panels and lights. Does that sound about right?
lol some friend. i could go to a yard and pull parts for probably 100 for everything, maybe 150 tops

For the WHOLE front clip? I doubt it.
I sell the LS Sport front clip for $1600.00

Moar Candy! LAWL - Its not on his yard that has the parts. All they have are two partials from a 99 and 97 Cav that all I can get off those are the left fender and the front fascia and the headlights and they're rough at best. The parts we found are out of some other places. The cheapest we could find are like $150 per panel.
Anyways I think I'm going to pass for the time being. I'll get it done at some point because I've got some slight right fender and hood damage from the previous owner who hit a deer. We worked it out the best we could but it didnt seem worth the money to replace it all at the point.
Thanks all
Hi
If i swap the Sunfire 99 to 03-05 rear end
need some changes or mods on rear end ? ?
Bumper 03-05
rear head lights 03-05
trunk center 03-05
use the sames bolts
? ?
Maybe you can find a cavalier owner who will trade you for your sunfire front? Or is it damaged beyond repair from the deer? I couldn't find any pics of your front in your profile.
