Then I bought some new lights:

I fiberglassed that hideous dent:

The fiberglassing was super easy by the way, that stuff hardens so fast its not even funny.

She's now lowered and primered:

Shaved sides:

Shaved Trunk:

The car will be painted this weekend (MURDERED OUT!!! ::Flat black for all of you who dont know what that means lol)

so instead of getting the dent repaired you fiberglassed over it? almost make me wonder what your lowered on.

Also "shaved" sides, yet your door handles and key locks are still there. I wouldnt want you working on my cav.

I removed the dent then fiberglassed, I pulled it out as much as I could by drilling holes but that part of the body is hardcore, so then I sanded it down and fiberglasses it. Shaved bumper guards i meant not sides, sorry.

thats gonna crack and fall out. just a heads up before you paint it. that fiberglass is gonna crack over time and fall out of those holes. id sand it all down and weld in a small piece of metal for the holes.

No reason other than I dont have access to a welding machine or scrap metal, I am on a low low budget.

So you want to repair it when it cracks, have it painted again, repair it when it cracks, have it painted again.....etc. Fix it right the frist time will cost more now, but will save you money in the long run.

I totally understand, this is my first Cavi, I did it to my Olds Cutlass and never had a problem for years so I figured it would be fine in this case.

sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt but the cost of doing it if it doesnt work doesnt out weigh the cost of taking the cheap way out in my opinion. hopefully it will hope up for you because it would suck if you had to repaint the area do to the cracking.

A quote from his car clubs descripion on myspace.

Quote:

Every vehicle should be built with quaility in mind.

If thats the case, why even think about just hacking it together?
