left outer: 22626395, left inner: 22622101
right inner: 22622100, right outer: 22626394
so 237.62 for 4 pieces off gm's site

yeah, pricey. I posted a wanted ad here. I want them badly also, but 237 is a lot to pay, also try waiting for them to pop up here:

considering I picked up the car for 350, I probably won't be throwing more than 160 at any one exterior part (i consider the set of tails as 1 part) engine parts different story. I think the part #s could be useful for someone who wants them more than I do, or simply wants them new, and has the money.
(tabs) wrote:237 isnt that expensive considering its a special, export only part from the dealership. aftermarket tails sometimes run as much as $200 or more. although you can usually get the lights for around half that price on ebay.
thanks tabs, I think I'll just keep checking ebay. My other concern aside from the price was that its 4 separate pieces. My paranoia is that for some reason I will get 3 pieces and the 4th will be unavailable or take another 3 months to get or something. I know this most likely wouldn't be the case buying direct, but I still would rather buy as a set
yeah i'll keep checking ebay too. I want them so bad!

anyone thought about getting the 00+ and just tinting the clear part amber like how I did my corners, and then also painting the outer ring around them black like the 95-99 ones?

if you order from GMPD then they will say whether or not the part is in stock or on back order when you place the order. just call them if you want and order that way.
ebay is cheaper, but they are also used. while most likely still in good condition, they may be chipped, scratched, etc.

you can't rely on street-line's site. if you want to get it from them, call them.

Been done many times. I know of 2 people that have done it for sure
Skunk
and Kristoy
that one gives you a better idea since its silver
as far as the tinting, never seen it done
so yeah I want to do that but tint the clear to an amber like how I did my corner lights

i think some people are confused. the parts are not over in japan (the new ones from GM). when you order any toyota cavalier part through GM its going to come from a GM warehouse here in the states. i tried getting a 'leather wrapped' steering wheel through gm and they said they needed a VIN number from a toyo cav (which isnt a problem when lenko is around lol) for it to be ordered and would come from a place in michigan.
as for the expensive price, its no more expensive then ordering a regular set of cav tails. i get a good discount through my gm dealership and i just paid $48 each a week ago for a set of 00-02 inner cav tails.
Wanting a nice set of black 17's with mint tires? Pm me.
