I'll get some pictures when my camera finally gets up and running again, but for now I'm sure a description will be enough for a few replies.

Firstly, underneath my side mirrors, I've got a small spot of rust. One under each (weird eh?), and I don't know how to keep it from getting worse. I think I've read that a little sanding should do the job unless it's penetrated much deeper than just the surface, but I don't have the money to paint my car right now. Should I just sand it off now, and let it be as is until I accrue more money, or wait until I can get it professionally taken care of? It's a small spot, but I'm unsure as to how quickly this stuff could spread and I'm looking to take care of this car as much as I can.

Secondly, how much would the stock 2002 LS side skirts cost? The other day I'm in providence, and this jackass is parked on the side of a narrow ass street that should be a one way to begin with, but isnt. Not only that, he's at the entrance to the street, which is also at an acute angle. Long story short, I have to @!#$ curb hop to get around the stupid @!#$ nailing my skirts pretty bad. I'll get some shots later, as I stated previously, but they're pretty badly scratched. I don't even know how I would go about getting those fixed, so I've resigned to getting a new set.

Rust is something that needs to be professionally taken care of as soon as possible. It's not that surface rust is that incredibly difficult to take care of, but if you don't know what you're doing or what to look for the problem may not be taken care of properly and just end up getting worse.

As far as price goes for side skirts, call around and get prices... call some junk yards, etc.
