Service light, one light dim

Already fixed the problem because I did a search before I asked a question!

But, would like an answer about something. Couple days ago when I let the e-brake off the DRLs would go on and off about five times and then stay off with a service warning light. With headlights on, the passenger side worked normal, but the driver's side was dim like it was running in DRL mode even if it was on "bright".

Did a search and knew it was either one of the bulbs or the DRL relay in the fuse panel. Just replaced the bulb on the malfunctioning driver's side light. Wierd thing is, the old bulb looks perfect. Both elements intact, no burnt metal, glass not cracked.

Just wanted to know if this was a one time only thing or if the electrical bugs will start biting now.

Some times light bulbs do not just BURN OUT. They fade or get dim with time.

A lot of people do not know this, but it is completely normal.
