As long as it's real carbon fiber you shouldn't have the least bit of a problem with that. Carbon Fiber is good not just because it's lighter but also because it's stronger than the sheet metal that your car has currently. Actually with a heavy wing on the trunk it would help to partially eliminate the problem that most people have with carbon fiber trunks with the trunk release, being how fast they open.
Also shaved inside lights = no reverse lights = i'm pretty sure illegal
I think #3 for the win, and you should also paint your roof black to flow with the hood and trunk so the spoiler doesnt look so out of place on there
CF is normally lighter and stronger, but in no way would I trust VIS to make a stronger hood or trunk for the price they sell them for. CF is only stronger when it's manufactured correctly. Plus the RKS spoiler is HEAVY, there's now way I'd use that or the WW Comamando or Shark wing spoiler on a CF trunk. OEM, alum., or CF spoiler I wouldn't have a problem.
There's 3 levels of adjustment tension on stock trunks. If you look at the cross bars you'll see the 3 notches for tension, but be careful adjusting them, they are loaded with tension and I've seen one almost take off my friends finger.
VIS actually was one of the most expensive brands i found for CF hoods and trunks. CF prices are coming down because it's more mainstream now there's more people looking for it and more people producing it. I've never heard anything bad about VIS, I would imagine that if there was a problem with there products so many people wouldn't have them without any complaints. I'm sorry but your argument is outdated by about 5 years.
As far as the tension bars i've read plenty of posts about people still having too much tension even after going as light as they can on the tension bars. Not a HUGE problem mind you but the big heavy spoiler would help to offset it.
I'm certainly not knocking VIS's quality, but I'd never mount a heavy spoiler on one.

X2!!!

I went from an import to being part of the J-Body nation.
I say Option #1.5 which is all yellow just with shaven inners, and silver center caps on the wheels.

I say option #2.
I had may car repainted with the stock yellow. The pro stock with is black, with black wheels, with a Class Glass Turbo sport fiberglass hood that has the lip of the scoop black, black mirror and windows. I should have pictures this weekend.
The black and yellows go great together. I am not a huge fan of the shaved inner tailights, plus I do not see how removing the inner tails would make it street legal since there would be no reverse lights.
OPTION 6: CF toyo tails, no spoiler!!! FTW
