new help 00-02 headlights

i did the 00-02 front end swap and now my head lights are a mess one headlight is dimmer then the other my turn signals stay on and blink really fast my DRL would flash but i disable those thinking that was the problem . i strait wired i didnt use relays .i used this diagram http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=7&i=342624&t=342624 to wire .i cut ,spliced ,solder the taped the wires .idk what the problem is any help would be great this is my daily driver and i work at night i thought i be the lucky one and have no problems

You need to buy 2 relays from the auto parts store.
You also NEED to buy 2 new headlight wiring harnesses, do not use the cheap junk RK Sport ships you. New ones are $6 a piece and will save you the $75 for burning up your headlight switch when the RK Sport harnesses overheat, melt, and short out.

Here are the instructions to fix your lights:

Take your time and do this one step at a time.

If the pigtails you got with your kit are real skinny cheap looking wires, don't use them.

I used them originally and it fried my headlight switch on a long drive home one night. The harnesses didn't hold up to the heat, they melted, and then shorted out taking out my headlight switch in the steering column. Make sure you are using good quality harnesses.
