well your best choice is to get stock becuase all the other aftermarket ones are fiberglass and i can tell you from having a set, they're junk.

so you're basing your opinion on ALL fiberglass fenders from ONE set that you got? haha.

i got a set of F-1 fenders from A+ Performance, and they are pretty good. fitment with any fiberglass product will be a little hit or miss, but can easily be worked with to get it to fit well. i havn't gotten mine painted yet, but i did test fit them, and was able to get them to line up with a little tweaking.

as far as i know, there was only one company that made steel z3's and they were only for cavaliers.

like i said, they will take tweaking in order to line up really well. any fiberglass part will require work, some more than others. thankfully, fiberglass is easy enough to work with. i had to shim the bottoms of my fenders out so they would line up and make some of the holes up top a little wider so the bolt would go through. pretty easy to do. even the carbon fiber front fender i got for my bike needed the holes drilled out a bit. hell, my carbon fiber invader hood from VIS didn't line up correctly with the hood latch piece that bolts to the hood, so i had to take my dremel to that part to get the holes to line up.

if it all fit up perfectly, what fun would that be?
