I have read a lot of things on here before... I found this site last year. It has answered a lot of my questions... Until now... Something has peeked my interest enough for me to open my mouth... Something I saw today... Being it a holiday weekend, I do a lot of joy riding around... Believe it or not... My 2001 Cavalier has about 167,000 miles on it, and I put about 300 miles on it a day... Hours of driving each day... Always done that. Heh... But ANYWAYS... There are a lot of cars modded around here, but nothing too serious... Mostly Cavaliers, Dodge Stealths, Neons, and Acuras. But I was behind a Cavalier, or so I thought today, and when it pulled into a parking spot, its front was not a Cavalier at all. It was completely converted into an EVO 8. The bumper, the fenders, the hood, and the headlights. I had to double take, and look again. I pulled up next to it a few minutes after, and tried to slowly peek inside to see what the hell it was, I was looking at. TOTALLY un-modified cavalier. Normal 4-door sedan on the inside. Almost looked like a stretched out Mitsubishi on the outside, but it looked nice. I wanted to ask questions to how in the world this was done, but the guy was nowhere, and being on a tight schedule since my girlfriend called, I had to leave... All I know, is that it must have been recently done, since the whole front end was only primed. Tomorrow, I am going to look for this car again.
Sounds ugly.
John Piparo: I have an erection!! You guys are turning me on!
take a picture I gotta see this lol
with the right amount of money, im sure just about anything is possible... but i would imagine a swap like that would really cost a lot.
i saw a mitsubishi with a corvette rear end on it... never seen a cavalier with a mitsu swap though... lots of fiberglassing and money
yea alot of glassing and a waste, imo its crap, give propz to the work done on something like that but what im going to do later involving something white and porcelain is what i think of the actual idea
maybe one a 2nd gen, that would look OK. But not on a 1rst gen. The cars are to rounded. Even the four doors would probably look like trash.

I'm surprised everyone is like "WOW!" about this. They do sell an Evo 8 body kit for the Cavalier that looks gaudy as hell. Check around for it, it looks terrible.
Sounds like hes wishing and hoping ...
Probably was in a front end wreck and had it done over like that. My friend had a 2002 Neon and an old Lady backed into him and with the insurance money he had te body shop fit a 300m front end on it. Looked like all kinda @!#$ at first but it grew one me. And ill be damned it the car didnt sell for like 9 grand when he sold it, because the guy liked it so much...Ill see if i can find pics of it. Anything can be done with the right amount of money in ur pocket.
