I dunno... People tried to get that done before. I don't see it happening since several (myself and w00tburgers) who were in on the last attempt already have different hoods.

im pretty sure that wasnt class glass....when i had my biz i was their #1 jbody dealer and i made constant trips to the shop and never do i recall them having any 03+ hoods or plans for an 03+ hood. when the sunfire turbo sport hood came out i was talking to them about making it for the 03+s, but the sunfire TS didnt sell as well as they hoped so nothing came of it. but the company who said they were going to make it and then backed out wasnt class glass

I am considering a Sunfire TS hood but one of the reasons I was debating their or not is they made it funny

Class Glass and carbon by design have both been offering the 95-02 turbosport hood for a long time.

If quality is decent I will definitely buy one, The problem is people make this stuff and half ass it, the final product comes out and nobody buys it. Make an A+ product and they'll have my money, and I hope it is a true turbosport hood and not some other quasi-similar design.

Update:

Mike(original poster of this thread) has been busy and hasn't had time to update so I'll do it for him. Here is a message from Class Glass and some preview shots of the hood they are developing:

"Here are some photos of the 03-05 Cavalier turbo sport hood. The scoop has just been ruffed in and may be a little hard to see. I'll send more shots when the finish work is done and we are ready to make the mold. The scoop rises 3/4" above the hood but looks taller because of the angled sides. It is recessed 1 1/4" which makes the area for the opening 2" tall. I hope you like what we've done so far.

that thing is fu-cking hot! Will they be upgrading their 98-02 sunfire hood to match the new scoop design? They would be the only ones offering a true turbo sport hood for the sunfire (don't like their current horseshoe style scoop now)

Bob, any chance this hood will have a functional opening?

If so, where exactly will you be channeling the air to dump?

I just bought the turbosport engine, from the GM concept car your hood is based on. I need a functional 03-05 turbosport hood, so that my turbo gets fresh air. If you've seen pics of the concept engine you'll know what I mean.
