z24 skirts:
(i searched registries, just chose a pic from the first one to come up... fivespeedz).
can't tell from how tiny the sig pic is, but if it looks like the ones in the picture, then they are z24 skirts... if not, then no.
They don't really look the same but if I have a z24 then wouldn't I have z24 skirts?
Ok I went through pics in the registry and it appears I don't have the same as many others so did they make some changes or what? The car IS a Z24 so why the difference?

easy way to tell is the z24 body kit, red bow ties, z wheels, 2.4 motor, red and black interior and the gauge cluster with the tach.

X2...
they are exactly the same as some sunfire skirts as well. (not sure what trim or years)
believe it or not there were actually quite a few different side skirt styles through all the 3rd gen j years.
debate was with your truely, ill let it go this time since ur still newb, just dont let it happen again
no verts came with those kinda side skirts. they arent considered z skirts. so no you dont have them

They are Z skirts, just not the style you needed.
WOW! Is there a 2yr. limit on when one is no longer a newb?

If it has a Z24 front, rear, and side moldings then it has z24 skirts, different style because it's a vert.

I had all of the above except, red and black interior, before changing everything except the motor and gauge cluster

I can sell them, probably very cheap, everything I have sold off the car has been sold for very reasonable prices.
Just trying to help other ORG. members' out.Of course all the stock parts aren't worth a whole lot anyways.I'll email pics.
As far as seats they are still the gay tan stockers and they have been slightly abused(couple cig. burns)
"to be exact its a 2yr 5month and 34day trial period then ur good to go" .....Damn it!

they aren't z24 side skirts. do you want ones exactly like the ones in your sig?

5 seconds to find another street...
well, ive got the skirts i want (03-05) ls sport's....(but i cant afford to paint them) and the vert skirts are pretty similar to them (squarey) and his are white... so i thought maybe i could get an idea of what it'll look like. but... ill just wait until i can get mine painted, no sense wasting money on things NOW when i could just save that money and do it the way i want to later on.
ok if they are not "true" z24 skirts, even though their on a Z24,then what are they called???

they're convertible skirts... not z24 skirts. like i said earlier, verts had their own style of side skirts.
Check out my build thread!
well that just sucks, the z24 ones would have prob. looked better than these!

yeah... the 95-99 z24 kit was the only cav kit that matched perfectly all the way around the car. the vert skirts on there dont match the front/rear bumper bottom's like the other ones do.
the best combo was never put on a cav. what GM should have done was this kit for the years 2000-2002:
02 z24 front bumper (w/ lip), 03-05 ls sport side skirts, 02 z24 rear bumper (w/ lip) then those years would have had a matching body kit just like the 95-99's did. but nooooooo, gm is gay sometimes.
the worst thing GM did was not put the lower lips (front/rear bumpers) on the new body style in 2000 and 2001, then in 2002 they finally got the picture, just with the wrong side skirts.

The vert skirts are different, because there's a huge f'n rail under each side of the car to keep it from folding in half. Therefore, the skirt has some extra plastic on it, to fit to that rail.... because the regular skirts won't mount properly.

i figured it was something along those lines. the regular Z skirts have like 13 mounting tabs underneath that extend out to the underside of the car. im assuming this "rail" your referring to is probly somewhere in that area and would make it impossible to mount the regular skirts on there, the factory way anyways. you could always cut the tabs off underneath it and just use the fender-well screws, the rocker clips... and possibly some 30 double sided tape-although idk where you would put it.
thanks to all for clarifying my mistake, sorry Gmanz for the mistake,a guy at work has, like said above, the red/black interior
with the z24 skirts, which honestly I am not a fan of but when I do get my Drift sides I'll be selling my VERT. skirts.
