Anyone know how to achieve the orange jdm corner lense look..........................paint or film?

JDM...orange corner...? Uhhh, don't stock headlights come with orange corners...?

no they don't..........they have orange reflectors with clear lenses............i'm looking for a way to make the clear lenses orange

its a spray tint for stained glass. or if you can find the orange duplicolor metalcast.

Well it looks like the metalcast is just for metal...

And as for stained glass tint can you find that at any hobby store?

You use the spray stained glass... I'm not going to coment on anything eles.

I think if you where to do it I would use either Toyota turns for a cleaner look on the inside of the housing. Man do I want to order a set of yota fenders.

5 seconds to find another street...

just finished painted my oem corners using Dupli Color Adhesion Primer followed by Dupli Color Orange Metalcast...................turned out pretty IMO

The Metalcast doesn't look bad. I'm gonna attempt to mix some paint for doing this at work today.

actually to tell you the truth, I could barely smell it at all compared to other spray cans..............I got your e-mail after I found a can of the Metalcast

those came out great... only thing i hate about the paint i used is that they are slowly fading over time... even with professional clear coat on them. oh well.

we need a head count on the JDM corner craze!

i used krylon stained glass from www.misterart.com

comes out alot more clear than others ive seen. not as foggy.

do urself a favor and wetsand and clear them. its worth the effort.

You can count me if you are counting the rears.

First off all amber clear corners look great. How ever i have some questions indioturbo how many coats of primer did you use?
And qwick did you use any primer before you sprayed yours with the krylon tinted glass spray paint?

I put 2 coats of primer on, but the primer I used is a clear primer from Dupli Color called Adhesion Promoter. As for the paint I put on 5 coats i think.

i didnt use a primer. scuffed down with scotch brite (shaved off the DOT stuff too, hehe). i did probably 10-15 coats. lost count.. just kept going till i was happy with them.
