ok i got a 95-02 trunk, and i need to transfer the lock from my 04 to the other trunk. has anyone done this?? is it a pain in the ass??
you should be able to just twist the lock cylinder and it should come right out. when i shaved the trunk lock on my 97 cav, all i had to do was remove a c clip, twist the cylinder to line up a few tabs and it pulled right out.
yea, a buddie of mine said it was easy to do, he changed all the locks on his door cuz the previous owner only gave him one key(he thought they kept another one)....
i dont mean to hijack, but how hard was it to shave the trunk lock?? PM me so the thread doesnt get hijacked.... thanks
