Hey all, i bought some projectors a while ago and never put them into my headlights. so yesterday I took out hte stock ambers on my car and mounted the projectors there, and I am extremely happy with how bright they are. The only problem i have no is where to mount turn signals for the front of the car. Im thinking of getting 2 yellow or orange led bars and putting them behind the grille.

Ill have pics of this set up when i get my new phone (dont have a digi camera, and getting a new cam-phone today sometime). I think its going to look cool.

Its on a 2002 sunfire SE.

What are your thoughts?

why did you put them in the bumper and not in the headlight housings???

Probably because on the Sunfires there is nowhere to put the turn signals on the headlight housings (at least from 95-02)

Matt, you will probably have to get a GT front or find some way to mount a small turn signal to the bumper...

Joey - There is nowhere to put the turn signals in the sunfire housing. And Im not skilled enough to do that type of work myself.

Kardain - I might end up getting a GT front end, its the easiest, tho from my accident one of the turn ambers is broken. And I thought Id do something just a little different. Im going to try the LED bar idea behind the grilles for the turn signals and see how that goes..

Or maybe ill get a bulb that has 2 filaments instead of 1, and see if i can rig up the projectors to have both a running light and a signal flashing light... Im not sure yet what ill do. but untill i get to that point, i guess im not 100% street legal. paycheck better hurry! hah

I think Joey was asking why you decided to make the projectors fog lights instead of headlights........ but thats just what I got out of it......

correct...obviously you wouldnt put turn signals in the sunfire housings...well, according to this thread maybe

Oh, sorry i didnt read it correctly... I just didnt put the projectors in the housings because i dont have the means and patience to do that kind of work. and im actually quite happy with the projectors as fogs. Its bound to change as i cant be satisfied for more than a few weeks anyways
