could somebody please elaborate on the myth that this lid is flawed?

ANY pics would be appreciated...on car or off.

please help.

The carbon fiber lids are available in a black gel coat only now... so I don't know of anyone on here that has purchased one within the last year or two.

top pic is the glass lid, bottom pic is the c/f lid. both fit great. c/f lid is long gone and the glass lid is still on my car getting a wing molded in.
