i am just wondering if i could paint by blak plstic door handles to match my car, and if it would look good....i have soem spray paint i go from the dealer that is the same color as my car...( i used some of it to paint my interioir.........i was wonderin if it would work or even if it was worth it....thanx....

I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.

yes it does look alot better, i did mine last year and they still look great, i did sand them smooth first to get that texture out, then basecoat and clearcoat wetsand and buff

I'm planning on doing this too.. though I'll probably just mask off the door and do it on the car instead of going through the hassle of removing them =P

mine are painted, but i didn't do them myself (i've still yet to learn how to paint), so i couldn't tell you the process used. a lot of people have it done. looks 1000000000 times better here's a pic of my car with them painted to give you an example. the mirrors are done too. and yes, i know it's not a huge difference on a black car, but it does make it flow better and they're not all dull and ugly like the stock ones are.

i did mine....
the handles are attached with rivets... so you'll have to drill them out to take them off. but dont fret, i painted mine without removing them.
all i did was taped them off and covered the side of my car, sanded, painted, took off tape/paper!!
