I have the flip flop trunk done to my bird and i had problems. 1 the trunk won't shut at all like its out of alignment. 2 the front of the lid sticks up. i have a solution eliminate the latch and go for the locking hood pins to keep trunk on. Any opinions or better/ different solutions. thanx

Hood pins? I think that would look horrible. Just my opinion... I'd go back to stock.
put it back stock, mine used to be the same way and one day it wouldn't shut and i was pissed off so i punch it, know i have to fix the dent too. Car looks ten times better stock anyways.
