I have the Redline Tuning hood prop kits in stock... The price has actually gone up some from last year, so I'd have to double check to be sure. Contact me if you're interested.

Contact Protomec, he also has a set he designed, put them on my car, and was a nice clean set-up, and easy as well.

Pics of them on the car on my cardomain, my 7 year old pops the hood for me now....

The GP price was for $50 before... as mentioned, since then the price has gone up.

Email me for the best price. Our current MAP (minimum advertised price) is $69.99

i got mine from jason @ A+ also

and i love um

though the measurements in the instructions seamed a little off , but the kit went in with no problems and works great

i set the mounting plates on the flat areas that were very close to the measurements , and not sure if it was me moving them to the flat areas , or just the length of the rods

but my hood opens farther , and makes it alot easier to work on , and i dont have to worry about knocking my head on the hood , LOL

i did talk to jason about the measurements , and he said no one else has mentioned anything , so we kinda took it as being my cav was a little different

Can you use those on aftermarket hoods??

They are meant for OEM STEEL hoods. Could possibly be used on aftermarket hoods, but a much larger bracket would need to be fabbed for the hood, so it would spread out the pressure.
