Making my own taillights

Okay, so this last weekend I took an old pair of taillights and started making a reverse mold for making my own taillight buckets and lense "form".

So I'm new to fiberglassing, and thought I just needed to wrap the mold in masking tape, then aluminum foil, and then coat it with veg. oil to keep the fiberglass from sticking. I don't think that's how its gonna tunr out, since it seems the resing/glass is already sticking too well to the foil. So I guess I'm gonna have to finish the whole thing, then cut out the inside layers of foil and masking tape.

Has anyone else tried making their own buckets and have some better fiberglass experience that could help me with any pointers?

Eazy... why aren't you ever on AIM when I need to chat with you. You can use Aim Express if you're at work and they won't load the full AIM on their pcs (if that won't get you in trouble)
