I'm seriously thinking about tinting this week. Before I go ahead and do it, I'd like to see a car with 35% on it. Anyone have a picture? Any problems seeing out? Plus, nobody around me will do more than 6 inches down on the front window. Anyone have this done? I don't want it to look bad with a tint stripe going across my windshield.

i have 20% ...which is 5% too dark in Texas
and i can see out of it just fine
and lookin in looks very clean..not too dark..just dark enough
well i personally dont think 35 is dark enough
but at the same time i am not trying to give the cops a reason to pull me over every 5 min. not a problem in the world seeing out of the windows, and it doesnt look bad, i just would like about 20%. i can out out and get some pictures before work hopefully, but we will see if i have some already. i dont like the tint on the winsheild, i think it looks kinda ghey....
50% is the legal limit in ohio!! thats y i just went over the limit with 35% and mines a little darker lookin cuz i have the graphite interior!
35% is all i can get in NH so im hoping to do it next weekend..ill take pics if i do

New Mexico legal limit is 25%, so I went 25 on the front windows, but i put a 5% on all the others. There really isn't an issue of seeing through them unless its really dark and theres no light around (the 5
. Getting 35% will be fine.
anyone know the legal limit in Michigan
i know 35% is legal limit in NC...
but i have 5% over top of 35%... I dark.. but i love how no one can see me. :-)
I feel sorry for you guys who can only use 35% or lighter
My g/f used to have 35% on a car in the past. Too light for my tastes. I was used to 20%.
Now she has 30%, which is tolerable, and legal here in CO.
I have 15% sides, 30% back, and a 30% strip on the windshield. Back was done in 30% to be semi-legal here in CO. Easier to strip the sides than the back. Windshield strip was done in 30% since the 20% I have had in the past was a bit too dark at night, and the strip was is lower than the AS1 line. Sides were done in 15% since 20% was not available, and I wanted darker than 30%.

believe it is still as dark as you want behind the driver and nothing on the front that isn't factory. also IIRC anything reflective is technically illegal. i had 35% and reflective all the way around when I moved back up here and was never bothered, personally i didn't think it was dark enough.

I've posted this before about the tint laws, cause it came up some other time but I'll do it again
http://www.tintcenter.com/laws/
Those are the most recent tint laws for each state. All broken down to even what colors are legal. As for Michigan I read that it is any% on the rear windows, 4" on the front windshield. And some wired law that says that the side windows can be tinted any % as long as it starts 4" from the top of the front side windows. Most likely with any state and side window tints they need to make sure that a cop can "see" the drive when they pull someone over, its just a saftey issue.
i got 30 on mine
