going to get my car painted but can't decide if I want to stay with silver or go for a different color. my question is for all you guys out there who have had there car re-painted did you get you engine bay re painted also or that doesn't matter? p.s. if I do get my car repainted I will get the door jams repainted also
The only car I wouldnt have the engine bay painted would be black. Even then Id prob still paint it to match.
My engine is getting pulled for mine but I also have custom graphics going thru the engine bay and down the firewall.

if u want to show it or do anything even close to that then yes..door jams, engine bay etc...are a must..my car is silver also and im repainting it in may but ima repaint it silver so no engine pulling etc./

to do it right yes have the jambs re painted, if ya don`t you will have a heavy ass paint line inside the jambs
so pay the money to do it right the first time

Yeah, it's not worth the money you save to have it look so bad as soon as any door jambs, etc. are seen by other people.
