okay i have a 97 with the gay boex rear bumper, im trying to replace that with an 00-02 LS rear bumper, does it swap directly or should i get a different rear. thank you
puts right up. i have an 00z rear on my 98
how would the front swap then?
I believe all of the 95-02 bumper parts are the same, so they should all bolt up. the 03-05 changes though.
Thanks

95-99 have smaller headlights than 00-02.
Here is what it will look like with 95-99 headlights and a 00-02 bumper.
and all you need to change is the headlights, corners and wiring. The hood is the same, the fenders are almost the same, I think the only difference is the 95-99 have a bracket for the corners that needs to be taken off.

bomx you have to get the little fillers under the tail lights and paint them if its an 03 up like mine but otherwise you'de be fine...Incidentally, I'm not gay and I have the 03 up Bomex brand kit on my 04
I'm with stupid!>>>>>>Of coarse, sometimes I feel like turining those arrows the other way and saying I'm stupid!
i have an 02 ls sport rear on my 97. everything bolted up fine. the 02 bumper comes with the tail light filler panels attached to it, so that means that you can sell the tail light filler panels that are on your car now. post pics when you get it done
dont forget if you do the front you need the corner lights and brackets. if you want the headlight harness too since your going from 2 bulbs to 1 bulb
With the rear bumper of a 00 up like was mentioned the filler panels that go under the lights are usually one peice. You may have to cut those off since they mount differently that how yours is currently mounted. This will create a sag in your rear bumper. A simple bracket on both corners will fix that sag.
Thats what I had to do with mine.

im going to put a 02 rear on my Cav. which is a 1997
Now, i took the the fillers from under the tails off the car and bolted the rear on...
The problem is that the ones that are attached to the 02 rear they need some brackets or sumthing to hold them into the car so they dont stick out.....
So waht did you guys do ?? Cut the ones on the bumper off and use the old style bolt ons, or did you use the 02 ones and make a bracket, or is there a bracket i can buy to hold them properly...
thanks
