How hard is it to install a sunroof in a 2004 cavalier yourself. I don't have one and i want one, I love the one in my jeep. Just wondering. thanks for the help.

well you have to cut a big hole in your roof.. if your ok with that i would do it urself.. if not then take it to a pro

its a lot more then cutting involved. you will need to do wiring for the motor and switch. run drain tubes and a whole bunch of other stuff. if you really want to do it yourself you are better off to find a wreck and cut the roof panel off it and weld it in to your car.

its a really big PITA. your best bet is to get an after market one installed at a sunroof shop. it was about $1200 CDN for a power sliding roof in my 99 cav sedan.
