Like the topic says do they make Aftermarket Convertible mirrors?
Well I purchased a set of mirrors (M3) for my cavalier convertible on ebay and once i got them i went to bolt them up, and was like holy Sh!t this is no way in hell will fit. So then I learned that convertible mirrors are totaly different.
I had to re-drill new holes to bolt the aftermarket mirrors on and once i did they were slanted up at like a 90 degree angle ha ha. looked horrible. So me the customiser/fabricator............. re-made these mirrors so that they fit correct and had the right angle.
I have noticed on all the cavalier convertibles that they all have the factory mirrors, so maybe im the First to do this?????
Thanks for the help/ and input!

Factory or custom
and John317 has already done this.
i did m3 mirrors, which had to be customized to work!
NOBODY makes aftermarket for the Verts.
I knew they wouldn't fit because you can't interchange the stock ones. So when I got my Bomex mirrors the first thing I had to do was hack and thrash and then remake them to fit. But I got the look I wanted...

i want mirriors really bad....i wish i had the skills to do what you guys did...sorry just venting haha
Sorry to bring this older post back up, but figured it would be better to post here then to make a new one. I understand that I pretty much have to modify the mirrors one way or another or redrill bolt holes inorder to put aftermarket mirrors on my vert. Just wondering whether or not the plate from aftermarket coupe or sedan mirrors (the part of the mirror that rests against the actual car) is roughly the same size as the ones pn the vert mirrors or would they need to be trimmed? For those of you with verts that have installed aftermarket mirrors on your car, which mirrors did you use and for which specific car or model? Thank you to everyone who reads this.
Don't judge a book by its cover. Atleast wait till the last page. You may be surprised by the end results.
