question about wiring up blinkers
Tuesday, January 03, 2006 9:38 AM
my bumper on my 01 has spots for the 99 style blinker. i am debating on installing a set of blinkers just to try to clean up the bumper alittel bit. i have seen this done before but i donno if it was an older cav with a 2k conversion or what. i am assuming you just take the new blinker and splice it into the existing wiring???? what about making only my current light on for running lights, then the 2 blink back and forth for the blinker???? thanks for any help.

To make them work together just splice into the existing. To alternate you would be better off getting the wiring off a 200-2004 Grand am. They had the 194 bulb on the front of the headlight and a 3157 on the side and they alternated. You would propably also need the flasher.
