I got a nice carbon fiber door and want to install it - is there an easier way to take the old one off besides jacking the car up and removing the screws from the back?
Looks like there is a pin that holds the hinge together that I can probably get out of the one in my hand, but will this work on the one thats on the car?

theres 2 bolts in the wheel well holding in the plastic well piece. take the 2 bolts out, pull forward, and reach up. theres 2 bolts behind the gas door. i think they are 8mm or 9mm. i looked at removing the pin, but its more hassel than taking it off thru the back bolts

ive got a gas door that had the pin removed , and its kinda a pain in the ass to put back together
but its either the pin or the 2 bolt/nuts
I just made a trade with the mechanic shop next to my work - I don't want to deal with it so I'm designing some business cards for him. THAT I can handle!
