Her I was just wondering if anybody got their HID kits out of a junk jard ?

how much did you paid ?

like maybe the ppl from the junk jard dont know how expensive HID kits are ?

I am just looking for some ballast

The ppl from the junk yard definitley know how much it is. watch it ou there.

good luck finding them at the wreckers i never see aftermarket stuff there and i live at the wreckers. only thing ive seen is a friont strut tower bar on a mx3. and rims in the shop. these guys know whats stock and whats not.
but happy hunting theres always something fun in the bone yard

yes i've found HID's @ a junk yard or auto wrecker depending on where you live.... up here in barrie ontario.... but yes they do know how much they cost and your honestly better off just getting a HID kit elsewhere cuz ur not goin to get a deal at the "yard"

HIDs aren't neccesarily aftermarket. A lot of higher up SUVs and cars like mercedes and cadillac had them stock.

So, they aren't aftermarket as far as cadillac's are concerned, but they're aftermarket to our jbodies.

you can probably buy something like an s2000/a4 etc etcand just buy the whole headlight assembly and get the ballasts with it, will probbaly cost you a good chunk, especially its on newer cars that have them

i was under the impression he was after an after market set. the high level cars i.e. cadillacs and BMW's get rebuilt around here which makes them a really rare find.
