How much would you pay for this to be carbon fiber
Tuesday, October 11, 2005 5:00 PM

i am in the process right now of getting these c/f'd. it was just going to be for the projector headlights that i build, but i thought "why stop there"? im sure people would like this c/f'd, but not my projector headlights. so anyway, please give me your thoughts, opinions, and honesty. i will give all the feedback to the supplier and see if we can get this rolling. and please be honest. if the price you are willing to pay is too low for him, then i wont make these at all.
100.00?
125.00?
150.00?
200.00?
thanks guys.

That would be cool and I am sure some people would be up for it. $125 sounds fair for the set.

DO you make 03+ cav projectors with just one projector and no angel eyes? If so how much, I have a 9007 6000k hid kit and want a single projector.

have you actually tried doing it? I already looked in to having mine wraped and the expensive of doing it would be ALOT, the turn signal area is so deep you can't juts wrap a sheet around it, you would need multiple pieces of carbon fiber in order to do it which would look stupid or would take aton of time to make it looks right. If you think you can do it go for it... I'm game

I just painted mine to match the car and it looks pretty good. But I'm sure you'll be able to sell them.

Good luck

these would be from a mold. not wrapped. he says he can do it and i have confidence in him. he has wrapped his whole 350Z interior and it is kick azz. anyway, im looken into prices for now. ill keep this going for a while prior to asking if 125.00 will work. thanks guys and please keep it up.

id do 125 and im sure there is enough interest, unless maybe they will run a gp so it can be done at 125 for the initial gp and maybe 150 afterwards?

oh, the hole for the side turn signal will still be there, but the holes that hold the reflector for that side turn signal may not be there. i suppose you can drill your own, or keep it off. its still early. i just started thinking about this 4 hours ago and talking to the supplier 1.5 hours ago. this is all still very new. thanks again for all the input guys.

I agree either 125 in an intial GP with 150 afterwards or 125 straight. I just painted mine but I would definetly think about it, I could always switch back and forth

$125 for a GP and $150 afterwards sounds pretty good. as soon as they are ready(if it goes thru) consider one pair coming my way for sure. that would be sick

thanks again guys. it looks like 150.00/set, and 125.00/set for a g/p are the most popular prices. judging from the responses, it looks as if at least 5 people would most likely do the g/p. i would like to see how many people would definitely take advantage of this if i were to provide this piece for a g/p. thanks again guys.
