are tailights for cavaliers interchangeable between 95 -05 i have an 03 cavalier want to put 2002 or earlier style tail lights.
Lights themselves are interchangeable but You'll need the carbon fiber bezel to replace the red peice you remove from the trunk or either get the holes filled in...someone please correct me if I'm wrong,..

^^ or you can get a 95-02 trunklid if you dont want the bezel on it. but yes, all tail lights are interchangeable between 95-05 cavaliers.

correct me if i'm wrong, but............ someone would not be able to install the inner lights (reverse light), from a 03-04' to a 02' or lower? i believe the inners on the 03's are in built in the bezel? is that correct?

I might be wrong because I don't have an 03+ but...here is my theory
Ok...the trunks on all the 95+ are the same size so you could mount the bezel and the inner tails from an 03-05 onto any 95-02? I dunno, maybe? I'm probably wrong, I'm just guessing, I've never seen it done or tried to do it myself.

You would have to drill holes to mount the 03+ bezel onto a 02 and below cav.
